Minimum Software Requirements

• Laptop or desktop PC with Microsoft Windows XP SP3, Windows Vista or Windows 7.
• Minimum 400 Mhz Pentium processor (1 GHz or faster recommended).
• Minimum 256 MB RAM (500 MB or more recommended).
• 10 MB free hard disk space.
• USB 2.0 Port - Important: USB 1.1 will not work. You must have a USB 2.0 port.
• CD-ROM Drive for installation of the software.
• PDF reader to view the user manual. You can download this from Adobe if required.
• Internet or email access for full license registration. Software initially installs as a 14 trial version.

Turbo-Tuner USB software is currently only supported on Windows XP (SP3), Windows Vista and Windows 7. Turbo-Tuner USB software is not supported on Windows 2000, ME, 95, 98 or any other operating system.

The installation of Turbo-Tuner USB requires .NET 3.5 installed. This will be automatically installed during the setup process if it is not already installed on your computer. This can require up to 500 MB free hard disk space, however most installations require much less.

Note - It is highly recommended that you install the Turbo-Tuner USB software on a laptop so that you can take it in the car when tuning.

Recommendations for accurate tuning and custom mapping

• Accurate Turbo Boost Gauge.
• Wideband AFR monitoring system installed correctly.
• Access to a rolling road for precise measurements, especially for ignition timing adjustments.
• Other data logging equipment to monitor how the engine is performing.

Please note that we will not be making any recommendations as to what equipment to buy. If you are unsure then you should contact your preferred tuner. The equipment you need will depend on what you want to do with Turbo-Tuner USB. If you simply want to change the speed limiter for example, then you don't need any extra equipment. However if you want to create a complete custom tune by yourself which is safe and reliable, then you will need at the very minimum a boost gauge and an AFR gauge.
