Turbo-Tuner USB is
an innovative new system designed to bring the power of custom mapping
to the DIY tuning enthusiast. It combines the advantages of a custom remap with
the mapping capability of a basic standalone or piggy-back system. In
other words, Turbo-Tuner USB allows you to remap the ECU by yourself
whenever you want!

How does it work?
Turbo-Tuner USB looks exactly the same as a standard OEM ECU, except that the Turbo-Tuner
USB ECU has a USB interface allowing you to connect your laptop and
program the ECU by yourself using our specially designed tuning and
mapping software.

You simply install the ECU into the car just like you would a standard
ECU. The car will run just like it would with a standard ECU except that
the performance will depend on how you tune the car. The USB port is
accessible at the top of the ECU and you simply plug your laptop USB
cable into the USB port on the ECU and start tuning. When you have
finished tuning you just disconnect the USB cable from the ECU and drive
the car as normal.
Why use Turbo-Tuner USB?
One of the main objectives of Turbo-Tuner USB is simplicity. Many of the
existing standalone systems on the market are very complex to install
and are often "overkill" for the average enthusiast who just wants to
tweak the ECU a bit. On the other hand, remapping the OEM ECU normally
requires specialist knowledge and software to do the job properly.
Turbo-Tuner USB aims to bridge this gap by providing a simple yet
effective solution to the problem of custom mapping. You can use it to
tweak a base map, or use it in conjunction with other hardware such as
electronic boost controllers where you may only need to adjust the fueling or eliminate the over-boost cut-out
for your EBC/MBC/bleed-valve, or you may want to
completely remap the ECU yourself without having to deal with a steep
learning curve. That's why we have deliberately kept things simple!
Even though Turbo-Tuner USB is designed to be simple to use, you can
still use it to custom tune for many different hardware modifications
such as larger turbochargers, larger injectors, intercooler upgrades,
sports exhaust systems etc. For example, Turbo-Tuner USB has been
successfully used to tune an 850 T5 fitted with a GT28 turbo, 680 cc
injectors, a rebuilt engine with upgraded rods and pistons, custom
exhaust, intercooler, as well as other hardware modifications.
What's included?
The package includes the Turbo-Tuner USB ECU pre-programmed ready to run, a USB cable, a CD ROM with the
Turbo-Tuner USB software, and an installation guide. The full user
manual is included on the CD ROM in PDF format.
How easy is it to install and use Turbo-Tuner USB?
Turbo-Tuner USB is incredibly simple to install. It is a true
plug-and-play system with no wiring harness changes required. The
following pictures show you just how simple it is -

After you have finished tuning, save your work, unplug the USB cable
from the laptop and the ECU, then just drive your tuned car!
